July-1995: album "Free" Promotion in Korea

I met the guys in Korea in 95. Phew... Quite long time ago... :( And I know something they did in Korea 'coz I was the one who interviewed the guys. At that time I was a writer in Korean Music (Rock) Magazine. I did intreview Doug in 94 on the phone when he visited Japan alone. I'm not sure all of exact schedul of the guys when they were in Korea. But I know that they had autograph session in Tower-Korea and they guys were pleased to find out there're some fans in Korea, also. :)
And on second night, a Korean rock band called MANKIND invited them to a party. BMR guys joined Mankind at the HEAVY METAL CLUB in E-Tae-Won, Seoul. This place is pretty popular for local bands in Korea. Anyway BMR guys enjoyed themselves there for about 3 hours. Doug didn't seem to like the place, though. He kept saying that the music's TOO loud. :) And Doug took a night walk around the area for awhile and dropped by a coutry club (surprising, uh?) called Nashville and had a beer.
BMR isn't that big band in Korea, I remember that their schedule wasn't tight that much. I also remember that Doug & Ian liked Korean cold noddle called "Mo-Mil Gucksoo". They said it's pretty spacy. :)
When I met the guys, it was great. You know, they are all so sweet. Doug is the sweetest, though. They had an aucustic show case for the press. It was great! And some female fans presented him lots of gifts. No wonder, uh? Kal was more interested in talking with the vocalist of Mankind. He looked very serious always. And Ian was also sweet to his fans. I'm sorry I have nothing to tell you about Jacki. :(
Sorry for not remembering many things. As I just moved to LA a couple of months ago, I left whole stuffs on the guys at home. I had some photos which I took in Korea and of course, I had an article on the guys from Korean Magazine which I worte for them. :(
